Two-Day HPC Training Programme Commences at Nyoma, Nubra and Durbuk Zones.
A two-day HPC training programme commenced across Nyoma, Nubra, and Durbuk Zones with enthusiastic participation from teachers of various schools. A total of 71 teachers from Nyoma, 87 from Nubra, and 65 from Durbuk Zone attended the training programme.
The training is being organized by the respective Zonal Education Offices (ZEOs) in collaboration with the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, with the aim of strengthening foundational competencies and enhancing learning outcomes among students.
During the inaugural session, the ZEOs, In-charge ZEO, and the DIET Leh team warmly welcomed all participants and encouraged them to actively engage in the training process. They emphasized the importance of such professional development programmes in improving classroom practices and fostering key competencies among students across the zones.
The Resource Persons (RPs), deputed through the Chief Education Office, Leh, are conducting the training sessions. These RPs have previously undergone specialized training as Master Trainers from Nanritam, West Bengal. They are guiding participants on the effective use of the Foundational Learning Textbooks developed by Nanritam, which have been distributed to all schools in the district through DIETs as per the directions of the School Education Department, Ladakh.
In the introductory sessions, the Resource Persons provided a detailed explanation of the seven competencies and five key skills, laying a strong foundation for the training. These sessions helped participants gain a clear understanding of the objectives and expected outcomes of the programme, with a special focus on developing HPC competencies among students.
The training programme is expected to equip teachers with practical strategies and tools for effective implementation of competency-based teaching-learning processes in their respective classrooms.
