Two new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 10 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jul 23: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of two new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. and both the cases were reported in Kargil. While a total of 1995 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 890 and Kargil: 1105 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 10 patients yesterday, five each from Leh and Kargil districts. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 83; 66 in Leh and 17 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1821 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 132 and 491 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
