    User awareness session on NDLI held at GDC Drass

    Kargil, April 8, 2025: Under the patronage of Dr. Amjad Ali Abassi, Principal of Government Degree College Drass, the NDLI Club of the college, in collaboration with the National Digital Library of India (NDLI), IIT Kharagpur, successfully organized a User Awareness Session on the NDLI platform on Tuesday via Zoom.
    The session aimed to familiarize students and faculty with the features and advantages of the NDLI portal, while promoting its active use as a vast repository of academic resources.
    The event commenced with a welcome address by Farida Banoo, Librarian, who introduced the objectives of the session and emphasized how NDLI can serve as an essential academic tool for both students and teachers.
    The session was led by Rik Bhattacharya, Outreach Executive at the NDLI Club, IIT Kharagpur, who served as the resource person. In an engaging and informative presentation, Mr. Bhattacharya explained the structure, features, and utility of the NDLI platform, which offers access to over 7 crore digital learning resources, including e-books, journals, videos, and audio lectures.
    He also provided a step-by-step guide on how to register, search for content, and create personalized learning spaces within the platform. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, with a lively Q&A segment following the presentation.
