    Leh, February 14: Various delegations today called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, at the LG Secretariat and raised issues related to land, employment, and education.
    Shri Mohd Hassan from Fikar Youlbaltak apprised the Lt Governor of land-related matters.
    Labourers working with the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) highlighted their job-related concerns.
    Candidates appearing in the University of Kashmir’s Bachelor of Education (BEd) examination, scheduled to commence on February 16, requested intervention for the allotment of examination centres in Ladakh instead of Srinagar.
    The Lt Governor gave a patient hearing to all delegations and assured them that the UT Administration is committed to the welfare of the people. He stated that all development initiatives are aligned with public interest and necessary steps would be taken to address the issues raised.
