Various delegations call on LG Ladakh.
Leh, December 31: Various delegations called on Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri Kavinder Gupta, at the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
Chief Manager, SBI Main Branch Leh, Shri Anil Tandon, paid a courtesy visit to the Lt Governor and informed him about the comprehensive banking services provided by SBI to locals and defence personnel across 27 branches spread throughout Ladakh.
A delegation comprising PhD holders in Horticulture also called on Shri Kavinder Gupta and highlighted their issues. They requested the Hon’ble LG’s intervention to consider their PhD qualifications while carrying out the verification process for the post of Horticulture Technician Grade III in LAHDC-SSRB.
During the interactions, the Lt Governor highlighted the UT Administration’s endeavour to ensure robust banking services reach all parts of Ladakh, enabling residents and defence personnel to avail seamless financial facilities. He also reiterated the UT Administration’s ongoing initiatives through SSRBs and LSSSSB to provide gainful employment opportunities to qualified Ladakhi youth in a transparent and merit-based manner.
