Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp conducted in two Panchayats of Zanskar.

Kargil, Nov 16, 2023: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp, envisaged by the Union Government as a major step towards attaining saturation of welfare schemes was observed today at two Panchayat Halqas of Zanskar and Lungnak Block (Padum and Raru-Muney).
During the event, Day Nodal Officer/BDO Zanskar, Tsewang Rigzin along with all the officers and employees of the line departments and Panchayat members were present at CFC Padum and CFC Raru Muney.
The event was started by welcoming the IEC (Information, Education and Communication) Van. All the line departments were engaged for the entire day to ensure the saturation of flagship schemes of the government for the eligible beneficiaries.
Mass awareness about all the ongoing schemes of respective departments was given on the spot. The online registration of left out eligible beneficiaries was also done and they were registered under various Centrally Sponsor Schemes.
Viksit Bharat pledge was taken by participants, including the Sarpanchs of both Padum and Raru-Muney in presence of general public of the both Panchayat Halqas.
