Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp held at Ranbirpora Drass and Traongjun Panchayats.

Kargil, Nov 18, 2023: To ensure saturation of flagship schemes of the government, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was today organized at Panchayat Halqa Troungen and Ranbipura Drass in Kargil district.
During the event, block-level officers of RD&PRD, Health, PHE Kargil, NABARD, Handloom, FCS&CA, besides other line departments were present.
AEE PDD Kargil, Mohammad Sadiq, DDM NABARD Tsewang Dorjey, TSO, FCS&CS Kargil, DEO Health, Microbiologist and other concerned officers, officials were present.
During the event, villagers were briefed on various beneficiary-oriented schemes designed to enhance their lives. A comprehensive health screening was conducted, including essential check-ups such as blood pressure and sugar level assessments.
The camp also focused on Jal Jeevan Mission initiatives, offering guidance and support to mitigate water-related challenges in the region. One of the aspects of the event was the provision of direct beneficiary-oriented benefits to the villagers on the spot.
Besides others, the ICDS Department also informed the people about beneficiary-oriented schemes to the people. This included the distribution of various benefits and resources designed to uplift the community and improve their quality of life.
The District Development Manager, NABARD also spoke about the importance of saturation of KCC under Ghar Ghar KCC Abhiyan.
During the program, various government departments distributed pamphlets showcasing diverse welfare schemes to the participants.
During the program, BDO Drass, Shahid Sultan, briefed the general public about the goal of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and underlined its mission. The officials expressed gratitude to participants for their enthusiastic involvement. The Viksit Bharat pledge was also taken by the participants.
