Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held in Shilikchay, Gongma Minjee Panchayats of Kargil Block.

Kargil, Dec 21: As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a program was organized today at Shilikchay and Gongma Minjee Panchayats of Kargil Block.
BDO Kargil/Day Nodal Officer, Samina Khatoon, Sarpanches, Panches, officials from different departments, including Agriculture, RD&PRD, Health, Handloom, PHE, Social Welfare, ICDS, along with representatives from various other line departments, actively participated in the event.
During the event, the officers interacted and reached out to the citizens eligible under various welfare schemes, disseminating information and fostering awareness about the government-sponsored public-centric schemes.
Officials of Animal Husbandry, PHED, FCS&CS, Social Welfare, ICDS, Health, RD&PRD, Handloom, etc. conducted interactive sessions with the locals, informing them about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
At Shilikchay Panchayat, 10 Ayushman Cards, 12 ABHA Cards were generated and 93 individuals attended the OPD. NCD camp was also held where in 54 people were screened for TB, 23 for Hypertension and 17 for diabetes. At the event, 30 Aadhaar cards were updated and 04 new were generated.
Similarly, at Gongma Minjee 16 ABHA Cards and 06 Ayushman Cards were generated. At the event, 50 patients were seen in the OPD, 30 were screened for TB, 30 for BP and 20 for diabetes. Besides that 20 HB tests were done during the camp. 13 Aadhaar cards were updated and 02 new were generated.
