Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra observed at Panchayat Halqa Cha.

Kargil, Nov 17, 2023: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, conceived by the Union Government as a significant initiative to achieve the saturation of government welfare schemes, was observed today at Panchayat Halqa Cha in Block Lungnak.
New beneficiaries were enrolled for Soil Health Cards, PM-KISAN e-KYC, Aadhaar seeding, and verifications. Additionally, beneficiaries were enrolled under the Social Security Scheme, NRLM, PMAY(G), and PMJAY. The program also included screening for health indicators such as Sugar, BP, and TB in the participating villages.
During the event, Day Nodal Officer/Panchayat Secretary, Tsewang Yountan discussed in detail the objectives of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and encouraged the villagers to avail the benefits of all the Centrally Sponsored Scheme.
District Project Manager of LRLM Kargil, Muneer Rasul Wani, led the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra pledge and motivated women villagers to join Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for livelihood generation and economic activities.
The event commenced with a traditional welcome of the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van through the presentation of traditional Khataks by the Chairman Block Development Council (BDC). Employees from various line departments and Panchayat members gathered at Panchayat Ghar Cha to participate in the event.
