    Workshop on AB-PMJAY and ABDM Concludes in Leh.

    Leh, Feb 28, 2024: A one-day workshop and re-orientation session focusing on the factual data and current status of Ayushman Bharat PM Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) concluded in Leh on February 27.
    The event also included an interactive session on Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and NextGen e-Hospital.
    Commencing with a warm welcome speech by Director (Coordination) ABDM/ State Nodal Officer AB-PMJAY, Dr. Phunchok Norboo, the workshop unfolded with a detailed presentation by Capacity Building Specialist ABDM, Ladakh, Essar Batool covering the Status of ABHA, District Health Incentives Scheme (DHIS), Health Professional Registry (HPR), and Health Management Information System (HMIS) Status.
    CEO State Health Agency, UT Ladakh Dr. Motup Dorje passionately urged participants to implement health schemes at the ground level with precision and dedication. Emphasizing the importance of leaving no beneficiary behind, Dr. Dorje stressed that the true success of the workshop should manifest in tangible improvements within health institutions. Dr. Dorje’s call for a positive impact resonated strongly, underlining the workshop’s goal to enhance healthcare delivery.
    State Financial Consultant, SHA, Ladakh Tsetan Angmo, provided insights into the status of PMJAY and claims paid under PMJAY. Additionally, HMIS Manager, Leh, Rigzin Dolma delivered a demonstration on the Clinic module in NextGen e-Hospital.
    Dr. Motup Dorje and Dr. Phunchok Norboo addressed the concerns raised by participants during the discussion sessions, ensuring a comprehensive and interactive exchange of ideas.
    This workshop marks a collaborative effort to enhance healthcare initiatives, fostering understanding and utilization of AB-PMJAY and ABDM for the betterment of healthcare services in the region. The event, facilitated by the State Health Agency and Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), UT Ladakh, saw active participation from key healthcare figures.
    Chief Medical Officer Leh, Dr. Diskit Dolma; I/c MS, Dr. Tashi Motup; SIO, Dr. Iqbal Ahmed; DHO Leh Dr. Farhana Iqbal; BMOs, Super Specialist, Specialists, MOs, State team of PMJAY and ABDM, DEOs, and other medical staff from various PHCs and CHCs were present during the workshop.
