World Population Day-cum-Tethi Bhojan and the Education Department Awareness Programme were observed at the Community Hall.

Durbuk, July 11, 2026: World Population Day-cum-Tethi Bhojan and the Education Department Awareness Programme were observed at the Community Hall, Laga Mord, in Durbuk Sub-Division. The programme was organised by the Zonal Education Office, Durbuk, in collaboration with the parents of the Durbuk Cluster.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, parents, Village Education Committee (VEC) Chairmen and members, the Nambardar of Durbuk Halqa, and villagers from the cluster schools, including Middle School Laga, Primary School Mord, Primary School Pun Pun, and Primary School Nimgo.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Mohd. Ismail Gani, SDM Durbuk. Among the distinguished attendees were Shri Sonam Stobdan, Zonal Education Officer, Durbuk; T. Gyaltsan, Nambardar of Durbuk Halqa; VEC Chairmen and members; Heads of Schools; teachers; and members of the local community.
