    The three-day Youth Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme, organized by Enterprising Ladakh at Government Degree College Khaltsi, concluded successfully today with enthusiastic participation from students and women self-help groups of Khaltse.
    On the final day, Project Officer from Enterprising Ladakh, Madam Fariya delivered an insightful presentation on innovative packaging techniques. This was followed by a dynamic brainstorming session with local self-help groups, fostering dialogue on entrepreneurial opportunities in the region.
    Post-lunch, students engaged in a healthy business idea competition, showcasing their creativity and vision for Ladakh’s future. Ms. Sonam Yangdol of 5th semester secured the first prize in the quiz competition and she also gave a presentation titled Blooming Horizon: Ladakh’s Glow-Based Beauty Revolution. Mr. Rigzin Dorjey of 3rd semester won the second prize with his proposal on Eco-Friendly Trekking in the Hanu region of Ladakh.
    As part of the programme, Madam Fariya presented a momento to Dr. Samina Iqbal, Principal of GDC Khaltse, and Mr Stanzin Stamdin College’s Nodal Officer for Enterprising Ladakh in appreciation of their support in conducting the event successfully.
    Representatives from J&K Bank, including Mr. Paldan and his team, provided valuable information on various loan schemes and financial assistance available under manufacturing, trading, and MSME sectors. They encouraged participants to take advantage of these opportunities to turn their entrepreneurial ideas into reality.
    The three-day event highlighted the potential of Ladakh’s youth and local communities in shaping sustainable and innovative enterprises, especially in areas such as agriculture, tourism, and local product development.
