The Zone Level Inter-School Tournament 2026 for Higher Secondary and High Schools of Nyoma and Durbuk Zones concluded today with a grand closing ceremony held at Government Higher Secondary School, Nyoma.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, LAHDC Leh, under the supervision of the Zonal Physical Education Officer, Nyoma.
The closing ceremony was graced by Shri Nitish Rajora, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Changthang, as the Chief Guest, while Shri Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafri, JKPS, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Changthang, attended as the Guest of Honour.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various schools across Nyoma and Durbuk Zones, who competed in different sporting disciplines over the course of the event. The competitions provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
During the ceremony, winners and runners-up of various events were felicitated with trophies, medals, and certificates.
